Facility Credentials

Overview

Tube Turns® Division designs and manufactures its products in accordance with Section VIII, Division 1 and Division 2 of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. The ASME Code controls the pressure vessel design, materials, welders' qualifications, methods of construction, testing, inspections and documentation. We are U-Stamp and U2-Stamp certified through ASME, hold an R-Stamp for repair, and are authorized to register products with the NB-Stamp.

ASME Code Stamped Closures

Code stamping of Tube Turns® closures is available on request for a nominal fee. This includes (1) the furnishing of a Partial Data Report (Form U-2A) verifying shop inspection of the unit by a commissioned inspector of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector, and (2) the affixing of the ASME stamp. Material and test certifications are also available.

Tube Turns® Products is committed to meeting the requirements of its customers, both internal and external, by providing best-in class products, delivery and service while adhering to its annual operating plan, ASME Section VIII Division 1, ISO 9001:2008 quality management system, continual improvement requirements, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

In the event that shop inspection and stamping in accordance with Section VIII of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is not required, Tube Turns® can furnish a Manufacturer's Statement of Code Compliance at no charge. The document affirms that the closure is manufactured in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Code.
